How it works

Rules your agent can't forget
The rules are enforced on our server, outside your agent. A long chat, a compacted memory or a cleverly worded email can't switch them off.
- The BellBy default, every send or change asks you in Telegram first, showing what will happen: who it's to, the subject, the start of the message, which account.
- House RulesPer app: what runs on its own, what needs your tap, and what's never allowed. Deletes and payments are blocked until you say otherwise.
- Lock the DoorsOne button stops every send, change, delete and payment across all your apps. Reads keep working; anything waiting is turned away.
- Look, don't touchMake any app read-only. Your agent can find things in it and summarise them, but can't touch anything.

Questions
- Do you see or store my passwords?
- No. You sign in to each app on its own page. The access is held by Composio, our connections partner; we keep only an id for each connection. Your agent never sees it either.
- Can my agent change or switch off the rules?
- No. The rules are checked on our server for every single call, and nothing your agent can call reads or changes them. Only you can, signed in on the Front Desk.
- What if I don't answer the Bell?
- Nothing happens. A request you don't answer expires after 30 minutes and is never sent. Your agent is told, so it can ask you again later.
- Which apps work?
- Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Outlook, Discord and Linear today, with more on the way.
- What counts as an agent call?
- An action that actually runs in one of your apps — reading your inbox, sending an email. Searches, refusals and requests you turn away don't count.
- What do you keep about what my agent does?
- Which action ran, in which app, what your rules decided and how long it took — never the content of your emails, messages or files. Delete your account and it's gone, except a one-way hash of your email that stops a second free trial.
